need help save and loading sounds in the 500

im new to the mpc game but i do have the 500. i just brought some drums i down loaded the sounds from my mac book to the 500. whats next. i go to mode and load i see the sample sounds in their but whats next. well i brought one kit from abstract beats will all them sounds play out the 500 or could i store all of them

Eazy Boy, welcome to the MPC Forum.

If your running a mac then google MPC PAD 187 and you can create programs for your MPC.

Otherwise load the sounds you want onto your CF Card, then do MODE -> LOAD (PAD 2) using your cursors select Program and use the Data wheel to select 'Sample'.

Then use the Cursor to select the folder name below e.g. '1.Kits' use the data wheel to find your directory and press right on the cursor.

Once you find the sample you want then press the 'Do it' button then press the pad you want it allocated to and press 'Do it again'.
