i just got an mpc 2000xl and i dont see any speakers on it, do u need extra speakers to connect to mpc 2000xl to hear sounds? and can any1 tell me how to hear sounds and load them? it didnt come with manual

Yes you need other speakers to hear sounds. You can connect any speakers thru the stereo outs but u will need 3mm cables like these

Image (not the regular plugs that you will use for like your headphones on your mp3 player but the ones that are a little "fatter")

you can load sounds by having sounds ready on floppy disk or zip disk or whatever drive your mpc has installed.

I thought this was a joke until I remembered a while back that someone had commented on a keyboard workstation and was upset that it didn't have speakers installed.

that's like saying, "SH!T, the buttons don't light up to tell you which ones to hit or nothin'!!!" lol

The speakers are on the bottom of the unit. Just put it on some bricks to raise it up and then they work just fine.....
