MIDI Problem!!!!

Had this problem way back last year. Alright, to make it simple, how do i change tracks or MIDI using the mpc and triton.The mpc is already hooked up to the triton, and i have one MIDI playing at the moment through MIDI:1A-Device01 on the mpc. I cant record anything else on a separate track.Once again im in the middle of cutting a track and ive run into a brick wall.If anyone out there understands my question and can be so kind as to help me.I would surely appreciate it.Thanx...

maybe you need to put the triton into multi mode, where you can set up the multi timbral parts. ie. bass on channel 1, paino on channel 2, etc etc

i dont own one, but its the cause with most multi timbral synths

not to mention, you probably want to change midi channels for every new instrument you want to add from the triton

i know but everything is acting crazy.when i change channels the sound shuts off for channel one.im switching channels on bothe the mpc and the triton.ive recorded one midi from the triton.but cant change sounds.it wont let me without stopping the sound from coming from midi channel one.im stuck right now..any help someone?

i have a motif es, and to get it to be multi timbral i go to the mixer screen in the keyboard. find the mixer screen and i think that is how u multi timbral the triton
