MPD 24 HELP!!!! juss got it...

im new to the Akai family...
i just got an MPD 24... im reading the manual... and im TOTALLY lost...
im using Reason 2.5.. how do i trigger sounds from Reason the the pads?

you have to set the MPD up 'in' reason.. you need to go into the preferences menu in reason to do this..

go to the akai website, download the reason remote file and install it.

ok, i got it working...
now, for the drums... i got kicks on pad 1, snares on pad 2 and hi hats on pad 3... GREAT! everything's cool so far.... now, i open up a NN-19 and select a sample... now, all 16 pads have the sample on em... at different pitches...

what i want is: Pad 1 - kick; Pad 2 - snare; Pad 3 - hi hats; Pad 4 - sample 1; Pad 5 - sample 2: etc.... know what i mean? like on the MPC... how do i do that?????

there is a editor program that came with the mpd24, if not down load it from akaipro.com, load that program up and create a template. simply at that. take your time and read as you go along because you will learn other things/features about the mdp24.
