are these little cables rare ?

I was wondering if anyone could or wanted to post a clear pic of how the 2000XL's Multi Card Reader ide/atapi cable looks on both ends. Also the power supply cable on both ends. I have looked a good bit on the net but i cant seem to get a good look at any of them.

The mcd data cable is the SAME as a computer hard drive ide data ribbon cable (40 pin) available at any computer store for cheap.

The power cable is floppy on one end and the above hd power cable connector on the other (it's called molex at the computer stores, they SHOULD, know what it is). Only the red and black colors need to be connected. You can splice them together or spend money and buy an adpater from somewhere. Save your dough and just splice them together.

thanks Lampdog ,that helps a lot. I will look in the thrift stores a little but may splice or buy...im not sure yet. However i do have a good understanding of the wire ends im dealing with now.

oh and one more thing... do you know of the best, most compatible, cheapest (mabye at a computer store or somewhere) card reader i could buy for the 2000XL. I checked VST and Ebay's are a bit expensive. Just wondering if anyone knew the lowdown on the best companyl to buy from.
