I just purchased that korg X50, hooked it up and everything is working fine.

I have to switch the midi channels on the 1k everytime I want to record a new sound with the X50. When I do this the sounds seem to combine...like I record track one...strings....put the mpc on track 2 and midi channel 2, move the korg to track 2...piano...when i go to record and play the keys i can hear the strings from track 1, but when i play it back its fine...can anyone explain this, and tell me how to stop this from happening, it really messes up my groove.

except for that little problem im having I love it...i also have the roland fantom x6...i use them both, the x50 is proving its self and sounds really good, and for the price...cant beat it....

changing your tracks...you have to use multi mode...and on the screen you will see tabs that say prog 1-8, prog 9-16, mix 1-8 mix 9-16...use the page up and down keys to select the different tabs...in the prog 1-8 screen you will have track 1-8...use the click button or the wheel to select your program...at the bottom of the screen you will see the name of the instrument...at the top of the column for what track you on you have to go there to change it...like the midi # or whatever g101=piano ya dig...i use the click button alot, or just press category. hope this helps....you can also use the combi mode but i havent tried it yet...multi is fine because you can use all the sounds and the ones that you saved yourself...dont forget you have sound banks a-d...use em, its alot of good shii hiding in there.
