What would you want most on a 60/3000

What would be the one thing that you wish Akai had added to the 3000/60? Just curious and I don't know whether there's other threads about this...

Mine would be in the case of the 60, 8 individual outs like on the 2000

haha! what!? yeah I wish my 60 had 8 individual outs like the 2K also, that'd be dope...if it was 12 bit that'd be neat as well

another nifty feature would be if the 60 was made out of cheap ass plastic and Kanye used one

Chopshop would be dope, and being able to control the volume of the individual outs would be awesome. Some filters or an lfo wouldn't go astray either.

Other than that, all the new features Rohan has implemented in the 3000 os would be amazing.

As it stands though, I still love my 60 like a baby.

realistically, mtc send, mmc, wider range for sample tuning. useable mixer section. the 3.1 os isnt as polished as the 3k version overall.

Fellas... check out the specs on the Roger Linn 3000 OS for the 60 (the MPC 3000 operating system / chip made to work inside an MPC 60). There are a lot of wish-list features already packed in there - well worth the investment!

A high-pass filter on the 3000 would be dope! And maybe a equalizer.

And LFO on the filters.

A loop-function so i could use short tones and loop them to be everlasting (for bass, strings and such).

A mute-off the last sample when hitting another sample mode! (the 2500 has this, right?) That would make it easier when you have 16 chops you want to stop eachother playing. Then you could make endless combos without using all the MPCs pads.

Maybe a normalize function?

And the ability of using more programs at one time, like MPZ60 said.

And it would be dope to slide samples, like on a synth's pitch bend.
