Same, i think thats why no one has responded.

Did you get jacked and you're tryna recover it from the thief?

My mpc1000 was used before i got it. so i cant do what the manual says cuz. the "start setups" is not original.

Download the factory sound set for the 1000, put it in a folder on the CF card, and load it all at once when you turn on the MPC. Then you can folllow the manual.

If you want to do it right, you need to write them to the internal memory, but this is more trouble than its worth as the sounds suck, and once you know how to use the MPC you probably won't ever use them again.
