Any recommendations on place to buy IB208p

Hi

I am thinking of buying an IB208p for my mpc2000

From what I can establish the price for this is quite high in Europe

Has anybody ordered this from Japan as it seems to half the price (150 euros) than it is here in Europe

In europe, I do not know. In the U.S.A. I would order from sweetwater sound.

I've bought records of the net from Japan. That worked for me. It only takes a day or two longer tghan US airmail.
In fact, i'm buying the 8-out for my mpc2000xl too. Probably at the end of this month, we could maybe save some shipping cost by buying two at the same time.

Unfortunately most sites in Japan contain Japanese characters (surprise surprise)....I can calculate the euro value of the yen price and it comes out round 160 euros....I have mailed a couple of sites but have had not reply....probably cos they see all these illegible English characters!!

US price seems to be $220

I bought mine on Ebay for fairly cheap.

Its works fine as long as you ship it carefully enough..

yo i just ordered it from www.zzounds.com for $220. dont know what that equals in euros, but thats the standard price across the pond. i'm stoked! no one has carried these for the past year it seems. i guess now that akai has reorganized and the 1000 is doing really well for them, they finally started shipping the 8 out boards again. FINALLY!!!!! tracking beats is gonna go so much faster now! woo hoo!!!
