2500 or 4000

Im not looking to buy either, just wondering which you would rather have.

but personally I'd go for the 4000. I already have the 2kXL. the 2500 is not that big of an upgrade from my 2kXL.

plus I'd love an MPC with Aksys and 24-bit sampling capability.

YES...indeed

from what i know so far, the 2500 has nothing or very little on the 4000

so i guess 4000

^more accurate comparison would be 4k and mv...qustion is which one would you rather have. ...not which one is more superior. if you cant make a good beat with what you got, then even the 4000 wont help you.



back to the topic...It'd be nice to have the 4k in the lab but I'm content with workflow of 2500

i personally like the workflow of the 2500, i jus copped one... its dope, i like it. I almost got the 4000, but i dunno, maybe its cuz i was coming from the 1000, i was jus feelin the 2500 more

yeah when i was saying ide cop the 2500 i just meant preferablly. 2500 doesnt really have shit on the 4000, but i think out of the two ide go that route

The salesman at guitar center told me the 2500 is the way to go. He seemed like a trustworthy individual.

Yea, cuz their inventory is full of 2500's & its probably a nightmare for him/her to get their hands on a 4k.

The question im asking myself right now: buy the 4000 or the 3000...
