NO DOUBT TJUDGE BUT HAVEN THAT TIMESTRETCH RIGHT ON THE MACHINE KIND OF GIVES MORE TIME TO SAMPLE RATHER THAN GOING FROM MPC TO PC JUST TO TIMESTRETCH, DONT YOU THINK? BUT IM JUST STARTING SO I DONT KNOW HOW TIME CONSUMING IT IS ON THE 2K TO TIMESTRETCH.

Well, I never use it anyway. I'm not a sampler. I use my MPC strictly for beats. All my beats are 100% original, no loops. However, I do chop beats and use the sounds, but the sounds are all one hit sounds meaning that even if I change the tempo of the song, everything will still be in perfect time. Even when I did have the 2000XL, I still used the Computer to edit my sounds. I'm able to alter sounds better on the computer. Some people like to edit on the MPC, I used to edit that way also, but I find it easier, quicker, and you have more options to edit on the PC. And with 128 Mb of Memory, if you run out of Sample Space, it's not your song anyway, because you've basically sampled a whole album. :)

yo, i'll put it this way...i was there when goodie mob was still tight, when they were fighting, or rather disagreeing....during the recording of the "stankonia" album proper, during the greatest hits album...during the dungeon family album....nice place, cool people and all....it was just that, for me, i became a father of identical twins and i couldn't .....my seeds couldn't ,survive on getting a check "sometimes', you know? like, i would do some security work sometime and get a check like 2 weeks later....i'm not bitching, just saying, i had to leave from working there on a permanent basis and rotate to being a temporary assistant....like, if i get a call to come thru and i'm not helping my kids mother out, or i'm not studying for an exam, and they need something or something is going on, i'm there, you know? ....mad respect from me, and i will never say a bad word about anyone there, because they didn't have to let me in there at all, you know? life...just gets in the way sometimes, there wasn't enough work to go around, and when the fellas are on the road, it's like a ghost town around there...and my kids have to eat...constantly, you feel me?
