Controlling my mophatt

try sampling your mophatt drums into the mpc after applying filters, effects, etc. I get good results-peace

EVERYTHING, just make sure you SAVE your patches and presets that you alter, otherwise you will get the default. Volume levels, pans, the whole nine is included in that dump file. So basically whatever state your module is in, will be recorded into that dump file. So if you have changes that have not been saved, they will not re-appear unless saved before recording the dump.

Not trying to being a smart ass but I have no idea what you are trying to do.
When I set up the MPC to control and remember the patches and settings, I just use program change, MSB, and LSB. Save the seq, and every time I load up that seq it remembers all the Midi Track settings, and patches.

School me on what your accomplishing by Midi dumping all the seq info because I was under the impression it saves all the setting from the presets and midi info.

It does and it saves a lot of time, it depends on your module. If your module doesn't support MIDI dumps then you will have to keep doing the LSB/MSB. If you can send dumps, you will not have to program all of those changes anymore. ssssssavvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeess a LOT of time.

So anytime I load up my MPC, it will have all the patchs in it from my Motif Rack, Turbo pahtt??
Like I can scroll throught the patchs without setting up the MSB AND LSB??That sounds crazy.

YOU: MSB/LSB settings

So that you have the SAME sounds when you have programmed a song, etc. When you load your ALL file they are all recalled on the Motif....

ME: I record ONE Midi track in a blank sequence during a dump.

I reload the ALL file and then PLAY my dump sequence, then the module changes patches, vol, etc, they way I left them. But I don't do MSB or LSB, I just record ONE dump for ALL patches.

We may be doing something different all together..............

I went thru the MSB/LSB thing, before I figured out how to record dumps...
