So on the last 2.1 OS (akai version) I got the "directory error" message when I chopped up a sample (converted 1 sample into 8 and made it a new program.)

So I got advice from the forum to install the 3.06 JJ OS. Chopped a sample up (same way as above) and got the same "directory error" message. Now I can't even save the sequences that I made in which I didn't even use the chopped up sample that initiated the "directory error."

I'm sick of this!!!!

Please help me MPC geniuses.

try formatting your card, then install the new os.

How do I format the card, without losing everything on it?
And, do I install the same JJ OS 3.06?

Without formatting the file corruption is still on the disk. Copy your files to your pc, format and copy back.

Edit: use 3.06 to format, never go back to that akai sh*t
