mpc to pc aint on manual

the stupid ass manual does not say anything about computers or midi usb connections, i read it word for word front to back, can someone with experience help me out{most appreciated} If you dont have knowlege please dont respond..........T%hank You..... Peace & Blessings

well for starters you might want to let us know what mpc you are using..

No, it doesn't. And do you know why? Because it isn't the manual for a computer or a midi usb connection, it a manual for a (ready, ready wait for it....) MPC.

Do you consider a car repair manual to be "stupid ass" as well because it doesn't tell you how to work a TV set?

Have you figured out what kind of manual you should be looking at yet?

I'd imagine your using a 1000.

connect usb > Comp

Turn on MPC.

Locate xtra storage drive on MY COMPUTER.

OPEN, Drop files into drive. exit drive, unplug and search MPC for new files.

(I have NO experience w/ the 1000 but again I'm guessing this is probably how it works. Hope it helps.)

I'm waiting for bnl to post what kind of mpc he's working with.

Judging by his profile he's using the 2kxl and that explains of course why that 'stupid ass' manual does not talk about usb connection to a PC; because it has no usb connector Einstein!

My impression was that he was asking something about how to use it with a usb midi interface and a computer and was disappointed that his 2k manual didn't tell him how to use every other piece of audio/midi/computer gear on the planet besides the 2k.
