I have os 1.03 installed but have no expansion yet. (just 16 mb)

This is my problem. I cant seem to get the max sample lengh of an individual sample to more than .491.171. But I only have this problem with samples I imported via USB. Even when the rest of the memory is empty my mpc won't play a sample of 11 sec in its full lengh, the max end point is limited to position .491.171 which is just a few seconds...

I dont seem to have this problem with samples I recorded with my mpc itself, they can be as long as I want (if my memory keeps up with it).

mode > trim > usb transfered sample > end point max = .491.171
mode > trim > audio recorded sample > end point max = endless ( if you have enough memory)

am I doing something wrong or is the mpc1000 not capable to play transfered samples of more than just a few secs...

I'm having this problem but only with waves saved in Wavelab. Waves from Acid and Recycle work fine so try another program.
Good luck

Hey Denzelcollins ! Did you see my post on the other thread that you started about problems with Wavelab and the MPC1K. You may have tried this but here is my post.

"I am using wavelab 4 and loops work fine. Did you try this? go to preferences under tools and click on the file tab and make sure you don't have "Create optimized audio file headers" and "Write markers in wave file header" checked. These can both cause problems with other hardware or software."
