MPC2000 VS MPC2000XL

Now excuse me for sounding a lil tardy to the fact but i came from using MPC2000xl's to 4000's. this is my 1st EVER 2000 and i take it that you CANT USE MORE THAN 1 PROGRAM AT A TIME,right?
