any good ideas for using the note repeat feature?

so far i have used the note repeat for a few sets of hi hats and also a weird synth hit riff........anybody care to share their good ideas for this feature? thanks a million. Glance

listen to some aphex twin and squarepusher, they will give you all the ideas you need

Here is one:

1. Set TC to 1/8 and 54% swing
2. Record 2 bars of HH pressing on and off the note repeat
3. Set TC to 1/8 (3) triplets
4. OverDub the HH pressing again randomly...

You should get some nice HH riffs doing this....

it's good for hihats, and also good for drumrolls and to make fast note repeats, like fast piano notes and whatnot...

Load a cool sample in then use note repeat with the 16 levels function set to TUNE, or whatever.

Hit note repeat over a loop (16th) and record a filter pass over it
