Hey guys just bought my MPC500 today, was totally blown away with it in the shop so had to buy

I guess most you guys are doing hip hop with your? I am going to use my MPC for Drum & Bass and breakbeats.

I have just read the advanced editing section, this truly is a best! Just created a new program using MPC PAD 187 (which is amazing)

Created a mental D&B program with all my Access Virus TI basslines and FX. 8)

What other kit you guys using?

I let my 3yr old son beat on the pads to make him stop crying sometimes. Kinda like a new age baby rattle. :?

My MPC500's my lifeline on the way to work. I reckon all those old skool 1000 2000 2500 (etc) users are a bit envious of its portability - and we're envious of their screen size!!!!!!!!!!!!

First day...on the train, took out my MPC and started writing beats and had made a load of sequences by the time I hit Plymouth. It is an awesome, awesome machine and once you've combatted the menus, easy goin!! I'm a music technology lecturer and its let me start writing again in an otherwise hectic career.

Happy days.....
