if i sample something in the 3000 and save the the snd to a disk and then convert that snd to wav via snd>wav program why does it come out at like an octave higher?

I am assuming you mean: http://www.mpc3000.com/wavsnd.htm

The SND-WAV / WAV-SND program doesn't ( or shouldn't ) mess with the pitch.

If your sound card is locked at the wrong sample rate the playback could appear doubled in pitch.

i just tried it again and it still dont work. it also converts it to mono aswell. is this a restriction in the unpaid version?
