Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

this question also came along a few times. but im going crazy. i cant find a shop that sells a ide atapi cardreader. amtron, psi, addonics..... all the shops have discontinued their ide/atapi drive. is there someone who still knows a shop.

I see alot of places discontinuing them. I just wish MORE people had have jumped on that mcd bandwagon a while back, they'd be alot happier now.

Yeah...I recently checked online the place in uk, where I got my reader from. They don't sell it anymore.
Soon it's going to be pretty much the same as with the Microtech scsi cardreaders going for high prices on ebay.

i also could get an scsi cardreader. if anyone knows where to get it i will. but their also hard to get. but thanx anyway

For Europe here is a store that has working, new card readers.

However they sell it for silly money... I got mine for less than 20 GBP from a different place that doesn't stock them anymore.Sad.

this is what i bought.. working without any problems.
unfortunately they don't have any for sale right now
but u could ask the seller.. maybe he can get them back in stock..

these were the answers i was looking for...thnx fell0w mpc headz for continuing to help with a beat up, worn out issue.

Its not as simple as it might seem to find a ide or scsi card reader.

Soon our newer model Mpc's will be USB...you think?
