I'm kinda feeling some classical vibes at the moment. I've got some good chemistry with Franz Schubert compositions, hardly rare but almost everything I pick up has me making "something" out of it.

Yeah still on the Jazz and Funky tip too, tho I'm searching for that big production that I haven't come up with yet be it sample based or fully composed.

Thats kinda strange.

I've just this week started going through jazz records after a year just sticking to psych rock and soundtrack/library stuff.

I've been looking for some nice open bass notes to chop so its been Oscar Petersen Trio and modern Jazz Quartet. Gonna go through Weather Report tapes this weekend.

Peace

Indeed... I just let it happen, and go for what ever I'm feeling at the time regardless of the style, genre etc.

Soundtracks? hell yeah... I'd say that's a good source when your looking to build something on the darker side of life. "For the record" not these musicals (tho they can be ill) ..um talking scores for things like Columbo, 6 Million Dollar Man, Iron-side etc. Yeah man!!

^I co-sign that Weather Report ish...

On the real, I never heard any of their stuff until this year but I've managed to bag three albums so far.

Found a nice few sounds from the 'Blackthorn Rose' track. True say I don't know where to take the production at the moment, what I've done so far just has me all dazed... real nice music from them in general, real nice!!
