Basically I'm used to pressing 'save' on pro tools each time I make progress on a song, and want to turn the machine off.
Now I'm using a mpc1000 while I'm away in japan (3 days old). I basically understand all the saving options, but I really just want a simple 'update' type save, so that any progress I've made on a project I'm working can be saved easily.
It seems like it would be very easy, but I'm just missing something. I have been doing 'save entire memory' but 2 times that hasn't worked for me, because upon reboot, and loading, I'm missing a new sequence that I added the previous session......

That's a bug in the OS
saving the entire memory is the way to go
you have to make folders and such but you're doing it right as far as your process is concerned
get the JJ OS

so with the JJ OS, is there a new saving option, for example, 'save progress on project' or something like that?
