only one i've experienced is enter the Velocity Layer screen in GPE and hit tap tempo while assigning a sample - samples still scroll in increments of 1, not 10.

otherwise, i've been having a good time with this one.

I would rather call this inconsistency than a bug, and theres more:

-Program, select sample, go to trim: Sometimes the first sample of the pad is selected, sometimes not

-Program/whole Program selecting mute/simult targets:

In GPE when selecting pads to be muted you dial in the pad, if you press a pad you dont choose it to be muted/simulted but you jump to that pad for editing. In OPE once you select the field for the targets you cant switch pads anymore, unless you deselect the field -annoying.

-Numeric button:

doesnt work on sample start/end, qlink ranges and a few other fields, but those two need it imo.

-Track type -> audio -> back, different track:

Really annoys me once in a while, you want to switch to midi, turn the wrong direct or one too far, go back and you are at track 1. Maybe not that important but just inconsistent

And heres the last bug, was already fixed and came back, fixed again here it is again:

Grid edit, select note, press overdub, shift+up, change timing offset, press overdub, change will be undone

Didnt report that stuff yet, just noticed while making music and quickly wrote them down so i wouldnt forget.

totally agree with most of that^^^^

"-Program, select sample, go to trim: Sometimes the first sample
of the pad is selected, sometimes not"

i always hit the pad in program mode than go to Trim
and its always the sample form 1st layer from that pad

+there are some improvements: sample Start (note on) works with after key now, or ive been really stoned last time.

for me, it's always the last layer of the pad - i wish it was the last layer PLAYED, since i use velocity layers and like to enter trim based on what i had just played.

Still got the seq edit - copy / move bug: Can't copy anything to a target position after bar 3.

Still got the inaccurate chopping (including the no-effect-release-setting when converting to sliced samples).

well, truely it happened to me few times, but its like 3 times/billion
with any os, so i assumed it was my fault. u know, like i didnt hit the pad in program window, only go thru program to trim.

Tracked it down, it works only if the mpc is not playing, i think it worked with older versions, will try later.

Ok just tried, u cant even enter trim mode if the mpc is playing with the Akai OS and it doesnt really matter. Would be nice if it was the last sample played like nym said or the sample selected.

Have you reported these bugs to JJ? If not yet then please do asap, so we can have the bugfix by weekend ;)

Reported only the grid edit bug and the numeric buttons not working, as they did in 2.1.
The other two are not that important imo and a bugfree OS is top priority to me
