yeah he lives in oakland now but i don't think he's from there

I think the sp-1200 12 bit sample rate has something to do with that.

Also, is that a Dr Sample next to his mp? Do they have a low sample rate too?

I believe it is an sp-303 it has a lo-fi effect. I think it samples at 16 bit though.
