I am trying to record the output of my MPC and the stereo outs are very low. Everything is up to a healthy level in the mixer page, velocities are good, and the strange thing is my headphone outs are plenty loud. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Lawson

check your input levels on whatever you are recording into.

Are you using a mixer?

MPC3000 outputs are unbalanced.

If you are plugging a balanced lead from the MPC3000 output into a true balanced input then you will experience a signal level drop.

MPC3000 level outputs run pretty hot. +6dBm into a 600 ohm line.

What is the device you're plugging into ?

Rohan.

Rohan,

Thank you once again. I did not know the MPC3000 outputs were unbalanced. I'll give the change a go tomorrow.
