MPC 2500 ebook

Hey all, was thinking about buying the 2500 ebook as its been reccommended by a few people. I was just wondering however if anyone knew how relevant it is to the new JJOS as that is what i use now. Will it still prove very useful? If not is there an alternative dedicated to the JJOS?

The JJ OS doesn't alter the basic functionality of the MPC as much as it adds new features. So buying the e-book is highly recommended for starting out and learning alot of good tips & tricks that you'll find usefull, no matter if you're running the JJ or the Akai OS. You won't regret the purchase at all. If anything, you'll find it to be a worthy investment... especially with all the samples included. Tutor's samples are solid and they sound tight. You'll get more bang for the buck!

I bought the e-book the day after getting my 2500, about a month ago.

I've also installed the JJ OS. It's SO useful, with both OS's...the examples work the same, and it helps enormously to get used to the machine.

Chop Shop works a little differently (better in JJ OS), but the book is an amazingly valuable tool...the sample are good, stuff you can actually use too!
