I Need Help!!!

Hi people..im zach..!!..im almost 25 and im becoming a Latin teacher..

i just bought a used 2000XL (it has a ZIP drive) through a friend of a friend..a very sketchy deal you might say...

i have 2 technics, a rane 56, many vinyls..and a heart of gold...if im not down and out!!

i dont' know the first thing to do...i bought all the cables but i havent hooked the MPC up... i need a nice pair of studio monitors because my sound system sucks!!...

anyway, here's a question for you....the kid i bought the MPC from didn't give me any samples or beats....can i buy samples in ZIP format to **** around with...

sorry if i might sound dumb about this, but ive had the MPC for about 4 months now and I havent touched it...you could say that Im a little scared to venture!!!...i dont know the first thing to do...i printed out the manual....holy shit!!!

connect your mixer's outs to your mpc's ins. next throw on some records and presto, you got samples.

the rest is your creativity and knowledge of your machine

and i'd wait on the studio monitors. you just beginning, you don't need all that right now. get the bascs down first

ive been djing at home for many years with a decent (but shitty) sony surround sound system..i definitley need to treat myself to monitors....

for now...do i hook my mixer to the MPC...then hook my MPC to the Sony Amp..??

Hook the mpc stereo outs to whatever you want the sound to come out of, whether it be a mixer, sound card, or amplifier

im sorta scared about learning the mpc!!

it seems like a huge project for me!!

but i need to do this!!!
