Patched Phrase

If anyone has any tips on the best way to go about this i'd appreciate some advice.

I'm looking to get my samples round about 85-95 and am hoping if I use the Patch Phrase it will help the samples i'm feelin go with the type of beats I make.

Is it true the more slices you cut it into the better the affect??
