Convert Sequence to Wav

How can I convert a sequence into a .wav file on the mpc500.

Currently, im running L/R audio cables out of the MPC into my computer's digital Sound card input, and recording the ouput-ed audio in real-time with Sound Forge. This sucks azz, ther must be an easier way.

yea there is, you can re-record it as a sample. IT's called re-sampling

Push Mode > Record

then scroll the data wheel over until you reach the record function

change the option from rec In to Main, then push play


It will save your song as a new sample in .wav form

you can then transfer the new .wav file via USB

If you have the memory available

it may or may not be 'better', but he still deserves to have the knowledge. There is no good reason not to explain re-sampling to somebody. Instead of saying 'nope' and posting a link to a video about something he already knows how to do, thats kinda wack to do dogg.

He asked if there was an easier way. I said no, as re-sampling is no easier (or more difficult) than doing what he does already. Either way, it takes the same length of time and requires a hook up to a computer.

im resampling a sequence that i made from a song righ tnow, but every time i resample from the main out, and assign it to a pad, the sound quality goes way down hill... whats up with this?
