I was on my way to work this morning listening to the Russ Parr morning show.
His DJ, DJ 6th sense, was mixing an Accapella version of the Jackson 5's ABC. And he was Scratching and cuttin while mixing indicating possible Vinyl, or ( well these days it could have been a CDJ-1000) But I have never heard Accapella versions of old records like that. Did he perhaps strip the vocals or filter out the instrumentals from the original record somehow? Anybody know how to get accapella vintage tracks?

hope that someone releases them.
i believe they are usually one of a kind tapes used for the mixing process.
I'm not too familiar with that record but if you listen close to the DJs mix you may hear backround instruments from the jackson record. the dj probably filtered out the bass of the jackson record and made sure the drums of it is in sync with the beat.
