when i record a sample and chop it it up it plays fine, but once i do the drums and then try to play the sample only parts or pieces of the sample will play on certain pads. is this a memory problem? i still only have the 16mb ram but when i check how huch time is left most of the time it still like 44 seconds left. please help [/b]

It might be cause your program is mono. Set your program to poly. Go to program, then params, on the upper right corner, change the mono to poly.

damn wish that was it but im on poly not in mono. any more suggestions

try doing this :

-record sample
-chop it up and assign chopped samples to a new program and call it ''sample.pgm''
-make a new program and call it ''drums.pgm''
- assing your drums in program ''drums.pgm''
-rec on track 1 a simple drum loop(just to test)
-rec on track 2 a sloppy melody from your chops(just to test)

is your seq stil fuxxed now?

by the way it's not a memory problem.. you got 44 sec left so your good to go..

not sure wich one worked did both suggestions and now i'm not having any problems. thanks alot guys for your help i really needed it. thanks and keep BANGIN!!!!!!!
