Is there a way to make the LFO run without being retriggered everytime you hit a sample?

Example;
I have an autochromatic bass line, in program > lfo (whole) I set the lfo time to 0.50 (controlling the filter), now the sound is like wao wao wao, so far, so good :)

But maybe I want a waaaaooooo over my bass line, in other words the lfo does not retrigger on every note. Is this possible without resampling the bass line?

... quite a graphic description, I know :)

yeah, trig and not trig lfo's would be fine modification, but i doubt theres room for it these days.

i allways thought that in this regard - ie: stiff env's, lfo's - the mpc's not too good in the synthesis dept. but not to worry it has many other strengths.

could the end of updates be an end to the inertia we've seen on this bit of the forum?....its been blinding, but i sense less traffic the fewer updates we get, mbe its time to try convert ALL the AKAI OS gangs to the good word of JJ.

i use carefully tailored qlink data to act as freefloating LFOs!

i have them saved as sequences so i just load them and copy the qlink data and paste it overtop my current sequence, like a preset!
