Is there a possibilty that osx accept a akai formated zip ? I want to put sounds
on it . Like usb- Zip and scsi- Zip. Under os 9 there were some programs like interpreter or osmosis which made a good job. It turns me mad and i wouzld be very thankful for an advice ? Thanx

It works MOST of the time. If I have a long elaborate break that I want to chop into tiny bits, I'll do it in Logic, then fly the pieces onto Zip via a USB drive, then pop the zip into my 2k, and it's ready to go. The only issues I've had are as follows....

1-Remember to keep your names short or else the MPC translates it into a bunch of jibberish.
2-I've tried to back up my zips onto CD this way, and for some reason it often won't let me drag all the files off the zip.

So it seems to work ok going from the Mac to MPC, but not really the other way around.

Thanx a lot , man. Can't believe that it works. I tried before with two broken zips and thaught there's no was and no helping software. Now, i worked perfectly..ok.. nearly. The zip told me it's full, but there's more than 80 Mb. Anyway i'm so happy.. that there's a way. I plan to come to Toronto at the end of the year.. so i invite you to a couple of beers..

Thanx c
