What do I save

When I make a track can anybody tell me everything that I need to save before I turn off my MPC. And when I wanna load it back up what do I have to load besides the sequence if I forgot the sounds that I used to make the track. I know their has to be a way to load the whole track and sequence at one time.

CREATE A FOLDER IN THE SUB ROOT FILE CALLED "autoload". IN THERE YOU NEED TO PUT YOUR MAIN SEQ FILE, ALL OF YOUR MULTIIS, ALL OF YOUR PROGRAMS AND ALL OF YOUR SAMPLES. MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE GLOBLE FIELD AND TURN AUTO LOAD ON FOR THIS TO WORK.

NOW SAVING>> ONCE YOU ARE DONE HIT SAVE>> GOTO THE AUTOLOAD FOLDER>> GO TO THE TOP OF YOUR SCREEN IN SAVE MODE WITH THE CURSOR AND MAKE SURE THE TOP OF THE PAGE SAYS "SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY" HIT YES >>THEN IT WILL ASK YOU TO SAVE WITH SOUNDS YOU CAN SWITCH IT FROM YES TO NO OR NO TO YES. i SAVE WITH SOUNDS EVERYTIME JUST TO BE SURE.

NOW WHEN YOU LOAD UP THE NEXT TIME EVERTHING SHOULD LOAD UP AUTOMATICALY AND THE ONLY THING YOU WILL HAVE TO DO IF JOGG SHUTTLE TO THE SEQ OF YOUR CHOICE

Why dont you just save ALL ??I mean all sequences ,samples, programs ,multis etc in one folder? I create different folders for everything. With a 60gb drive you have room to spare Forget about reloading sounds, I even record in everything I sequence from my modules and twist it and tweak it in the sampler.... some of my songs are like 50mb - 100mb but who cares i still have 53 gb left and back up to My Mac HD and CD-R.....Then I record and Mix into Digital Performer.......Just think what if you want to take your 4000 to another studio or on the road you can have millions of sounds loaded into it and all of your songs with everything you'll ever need.......Just please always back up your data just in case of HD failure!
