Korg microX and MPC 500

Does anybody know how to make two different tracks with different sounds from Korg microX on one sequence on MPC? I make one track with MIDI sounds from microX and when i want to make another track with different sound, the sound from first track changes

Is the MicroX multi-timbral ?

If not, you won't be able to achieve what you are doing.

If it is, you need to set the second voice to respond on a different MIDI channel to the first voice. IT will be detailed in you MicroX manual. You will also need to set the second track on the MPC to the same MIDI channel.

Firstly please please don't buy a Roland Juno D its not worth the time of day.

Micro-X is a multi-timbral dream machine, ok ok so its all sample based, but thats why you buy an Access Virus TI.

The sample quality is fantastic, £ for £ its the best thing on the market.

I have written a whole album using sounds from the MicroX with minimum input from other sources.


I am sure you can tell I love it, if your undecided go try one. Press the *SELECT* button and adjust the ARP settings while playing with and arpeggiator and it will blow your mind.

sounds good, i have not heard anything bad about it..and iam leaning towards it..once I fully operational with the mpc

can u get a voice vocoder like the microkorg on the micro x? if not how can someone go about getitn a feature like that. also does the micro x have some good bass. i think most ppl have the microkorg for the bass. but i like the sounds of the microx a lil more.
