Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

been trying to erase some hihats that i recorded and they wont erase.....also whwn i copy a sequance i cant erase the sounds i dont want for that sequence either, somebody..........any body...........help..........j/k ...need some help. thanxs..

Check if you are deleting these hi hats on a dedicated track.Maybe they are on other track and you forgot where you put them.
Aslo,remember to put the right pad when deleting.
Step Edit screen can always help in searching particular sounds.

i have them recorded on track 4 and yet the only way for me to get rid of them is by recording a new set they just dont want to erase.....stumped :?

highligt track 4, hit open window and erase that track only. if you still hear the hihats then they're obviously on another track, too for whatever reason. you just have to erase that track

thanx guys it works i think my hi hats are removed from all my sequences gotta go back and check....thanx again

The 'erase' function needs you to specify the bars before it erases anything, at least in the 2k classic.
