ive been hearing about this alot, i heard its the 1st mpc model right?... How good is it? Can you get it for cheap? Suggested for beginner? Should I cop it instead of the 2kxl? anyone have pics of it or anything? if you do can u post up the link.

The MPC 60 is a great machine.However if you are not used to sampling sounds you will have to buy sounds to put in it(It comes empty no sounds).I suggest that if you get an MPC any MPC that you set aside some extra money to buy sounds for it with.Once you have have an MPC and a good stash of sounds to play with get good at just making beats and then you can venture into the world of sampling your own drum sounds,melodies and such.Alot of people buy MPC's thinking that it is something that you can just take home and start making beats with and that is just not the case, thus the reason so many of them are for sale on Ebay.

the 60 is usually a lot more expensive than the 2k. It's a vintage machine nowadays.

If you blow it out, yes, but I see them go for about 5 bills in various states of upgrading.

Maybe it's cheaper in the US, but in sweden they're almost always 10.000 SEK (around 1200 USD) or even more.

bullsh*t....anyone who charges more is hustlin you cuz they know you are desperate....you can find mpc 60 for about $500...sometimes less.......when it has the Linn Upgrade that is when the real rape starts
