1/4 plug

Hello, I ve got an Sound blaster audigy with external box. (patinum)

Now ive got this 2 rca cable to 1/8.
Ive placed 2 1/4 adapters on the rca's AND an other 1/4 adapter for the 1/8 to put in the soundcard's line IN.
Now nothing works, when EVERYTHING is plugged corectly, but you know what, when i plug my RCA 's 1/4 adapters half way in my stereo out's mpc IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!!!!... but not when plugged all way in...

Anyone understands why this happens ??

how many metal bands do your 1/4" Jack - to - RCA adapters have?

I didnt even know they was diferent ones...! I supose this is my problem!!

btw is it bad for the MPC if I use these ones(half way in ) before I get to go and buy new ones ??

glad you got it sorted.

you can use the trs stereo plugs on your record inputs of the mpc. itd still be mono per side, but will work fully inserted. (just to put them to use so that you dont have to throw em out if you still have them)
