hey i have a question, i don't know if anyone has any suggestions but i thought i might ask anyway.
i usually use soundforge to chop up samples, i just like the bigger screen instead of the little lcd, plus it saves time for me.
anyway, say u have a nice bass drum sound but right after the bass drum is a hi hat. so i go in and get rid of the hi hat, but that makes the bass drum to choppy. i no on the mpc people say to add air to the end of the sample and then use decay to get it to sound right.
is there any function on soundforge that closely resembles that?
i know i can use the eq to cut out the hi, but i am mainly asking for other kinds of samples where i could not do that.
so there u go.
thanx.
