mpc 2500 & external hard drive?

mpc 2500 & external hard drive?

is it possible to have a MPC 2500 hooked up with a external HDD? What I want to do is load the EXHDD with sounds & samples and access them from the MPC. Is it possible? let me kno...

Is the internal drive just not enough? I think the largest confirmed hd you can use within the 2500 is 120gb...that would be a very large amount of samples in mono or stereo.

An external drive would only work if the drive somehow had its own OS and accepted connections from other external drives(the mpc).

im a lil crazy about my sound library. I was considering the EXHDD for the mobility (most of my sounds are on my desktop) but your'e right, 120gigs is plenty.
