To make a long story short I apprehended some fools from trying to steal my MPC2000XL, but in the process it took a few knocks and bruises, now it's not working properly! I'm able to turn it on, and this is where I get stuck...none of my buttons seem to be working! The services in New Zealand for repairing this great machine is very limited, so I'm asking anyone out there if theres a possibility I could open up the MP and fix it myself!
Would anyone out there know what to do in cases like this one, and has anyone got the skills and knowledge that would help me out? Has anyone done a DIY (Do IT Yourself) on their MPC? Would I need to use certain tools? Soldering iron? etc...? Some help would be much appreciated and this would be a big blessing to me from any of you MPC masters out there. Thanks!
