quick question...

after i hook up my MPC to my turntables, what do i do???

a dumb, simple question....but whats the first thing i can do to get me on the right track...

what you wanna do? sample?

goto the sample screen on mpc and hit play on the TT. record that joint

yea...

im having my first MPC session with my friend Tim tonight....

hook that shit up....and try to get a sound in there...

i have a ZIP but i want to sample right from the records...

i dont care what i sample...i want any blip of a sound so i can touch it on the pad...

You did make sure that you have a preamp between your TT and the MPC?

well what you should do is goto Mode > Record

and then record if you are looking to sample from records
