yeah usually track by track

track 1 hat
track 2 snare
ect
ect

each time correction setting will only stay that way for each track

track 1 hat - 1/8
track 2 snare 1/16
track 3 kick 1/16 or 1/16(3)

you need to learn to play along with the metronome and use your swing in small increments you can tell and feel the swing better. i use to play without the swing and never really messed around with it, but then i got bored and wanted more to my music and that helped to feel the swing

i usually use 50-53% but i have used 54-57 for like faster tempos like 115-119

When i listen back after recording, the kick & snare aren't where i drummed them exactly? Should i turn the quantise off or lower it to say 1/8th or is it just practise? The quantise seems to work against what im trying to lay down & i can't quite get my beats exactly how i drummed them in. Could the quantise function be broken? Any thoughts :?:

Practise mother f*cker! No offense intended.
