Need my drumz 2 knock!

What's up? I'm new to MPCs. I have the 2000XL. Just wanted some advice on how to make my kicks and snares really knock

eq, layering, filters, and effects in general

most important of all, this type of learning just comes with time. you have to learn in steps just like the rest of us

Try panning 2 copies of the drum on seperate pads - e.g. pan a kick to the left on one pad and right on another pad - gives it a cool stereo sound which adds a little thickness
