seq edit bug still in 4.67

Can anyone confirm this? I'ma do this the "bug report way"

1. power on
2. play some pads on seq 1
3. change number of bars on seq 2 to, say, 8.
4. now seq edit copy seq 1 to bar 4 (or anything greater than 3) of seq 2

--> seq 1 is copied to bar 3 of seq 2 instead of 4.

You don't need any samples, you can see it in step edit.

Works only if you copy from one seq to another one.
I've already reported this to JJ twice and was wondering why no one else noticed this.

Havent had time to even update. I passed out behind my desk last night. LOL
But anyway, I'm just bumping this thread and I'll look into this when i get a chance.

weird, i'm on an older version of the os and that bug doesn't exist.
i followed all your steps and there was no bug.

guess this bug appeared within the last couple of os updates....

Don't know if it helps but v5.20 on the 2500 didn't do it.

No, it's been there for quite a long while, that's why I found it so strange no one ever noticed.

Cant recreate, works fine.

Damn, what the hell's wrong with my MPC?

Tried reset, tried different projects, all the same. Copying from one seq to another just doesn't work right.

Could this be a hardware issue?

Aight, I just found out that the number of bars in the source seq has an effect on the problem.
If the source seq has 2 bars, you can copy to a max of bar 3.
If the source seq has 3 bars, you can copy to a max of bar 4.

So, if your source seq has equal or more bars than the target, copying works.
But e.g. copying 2 bars to the end of an 8-bar seq doesn't work.
