share or trade samlpes & loops

I want to trade samples and sounds loops, anybody want to share? but, definitly not drum beats or sample drum kits. Is it legal to do this? sori, i just think maybe somebody get bored with his old sample --just like me--so want to trade in the samples. Thanx

It depends what you/people want to share of course. If it's well known part of a song or famous tune, then yes, it is illegal.
Anyway, I'll stick with choping my own samples when I get bored with old ones.

thanx for your comment. But when i said samples sharing, what i mean is the samples from the company that you bought or download. Eg. I have samples cd from Bigfish audio, Eastwest and others. Perhaps you've purchased some items that i din't have. vice versa. Of course, like everybody else, i myself always do chop my own samples but sometimes is a good idea to have license free samples just to "start" your ideas flowing. Anyone wanna share?

the thing is with all of us spread out how to be sure you going to get the samples did this with one kid he sent me a blank disk good thing it was only drums and not chopped sounds from records find a safe way to trade them and im down

Good point, QUESTOR.C. Yeah how? the truth is I am still have a doubt about sharing thing like this. i think we have to rely on trust. What about starting it with writing down the list cd samples or chop samples we have and sent them just a little piece as a demo..ha..ha3x. Can do? thanx :lol:

man i work at guitar center i got tons of those disk never found any thing of use on the would trade them no problem cus its all on my hard drive any way
