Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey Guys,

I saw a post on gearslutz about how to tune drums, but the guy is using reason.

Now im wondering, How do you guys go about tuning on the 2000XL. I just got another one after a long time of not having one since it was stolen.

But this 2000XL is supposed to have a effects card installed, but i dont know that just what i was told.

So how do you tune your drums, or even samples for that matter on the MPC?

Thanks,

Rob

Download the manual, go the effects section, if you are able to follow along then you have an effects card, if not, you don't have it in there.

Tuning, samples is also in the manual big dog.

You can also assign tuning to the NV slider and do tune while playback/recording. That's what dude did on that mpd-24 video on youtube when he was scratching, he assigned the sample to the slider assigned to tune. Works well with in many different cases.
