If u want sh!t like ur talkin about u wanna check out a few library records.. that would be the best bet to easily find the style u want...

Search Library records on ebay or some sh!t, then look through them for synth and space sound type ones.. alot of the time theres audio clips to listen as well

Str8 from the source, this might help you out:

h**p://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete's_Treats

Pete's Treats is the name of a compilation record of songs that have been sampled by the hip hop producer Pete Rock. Following in the tradition of the Ultimate Breaks and Beats series, Pete's Treats contains an eclectic range of musical styles: mainly funk, jazz and soul. Most are relatively obscure tracks treasured by music conoisseurs and DJs. All of the songs (or elements thereof) on Pete's Treats have been sampled into new musical compositions by Pete Rock.

Peace!

I forgot about that.. i got petes treats but been a while since i listened.. i dont remember it havin much synth sh!t but it might do im gonna have to give it another listen a lil later..

Still.. surly this man wants original sh!t just in the same kinda style, instead of gettin the sh!t used by rock.. maybe he's just lookin for certain style and that was best way to explain it.

I hear what you saying. Quite frankly, I can't recall any crazy synth sounds blessed by Pete Rock from the top of my head. But I agree with you, dude could find a goldmine of samples (in the style of Pete Rock) within them Library Jazz/Funk joints. They're amazing. Add my vote, peace!
