I took the cover off completely. I'm having the numbers and the words for the keypads airbrushed back on & and having custom stickers done. I didn't airbrush it. It's spraypaint. It comes with a basecoat, kameleon coat & a can of clear. It took me about five hours total.

Tight Work!!!.......I was thinking about doing the same thing but I have to plan mines out better....i know it will be a lil more harder to do with the xl......you think?

Nice job man... I been thinkin about customizin my XL, but I'm stuck on one thing... How you gettin your decals printed out for the keypad and sh*t... Someone told me they got a copy of the keypad labels laid out at kinko's or some sh*t, but I can't see that working out... Let me know man.

I was thinking of using that paint on my extra case. they sell it at walmart also! Im kinda leaning toward dipping it in chrome, though. I cant decide, so ima wait untill i know for sure. I like how yours came out though, it looks sharp.

I'm not sure Prah. I'm not too familiar wit the layout of the XL. Good lookin AMG.

I'm not sure where to get the decals for the pads. I'm lookin @ havin them either airbrushed on. I know what all my pads are so I'm not pressed to hurry and get them labeled. I'm checkin on the custom stickers cooked. I'll post the info when I find it.

I wanted to ask, is the paint job smooth, as in meaning that you can't tell it's a paint job, and did you apply a clear coat on it. Man i have to say it's most def a good job.

I'm wondering if they got the key pad lay out and got a transparent sticker made and applyed it on the case after the paint job. but it doesn't make sence, since the sticker would peel after continue use. What do yall think?

REALLY NICE, HOW MUCH DOES THAT PAINT KIT COST & CAN YOU BUY SOMETHING LIKE THAT AT HOME DEPOT OR SUMTHIN? I'VE BEEN THINKIN BOUT PAINTING MY MPC2K TOO BUT DONT WANNA SPEND A FORTUNE DOIN IT.

The kit ran me $20. I got it @ pep boys. It's made by plastik kote or something like that. It's a kameleon paint kit.
