MPC 1k PADS (hmmmm)

I'm just curious.. i've been hearing numerous things about these pads.. there cheap, faulty etc... What exactly are the problems, I still don't undrstand. I haven't baught one yet and before I do i'd like to know what exactly is faulty and cheap about the pads.

did you read the post right over this one about fixing dead pads, i think that is the main problem, the pads gradually lose sensitivity.
